Ma-Ro Catering is a boutique catering company delivering elevated food and event experiences across the GTA. We work closely with venues, planners, and corporate clients to execute high-quality events with a strong visual and brand presence. In addition to Ma-Ro Catering, the company operates a sister kosher catering division that serves COR-certified kosher.
Role Overview
The Marketing Manager is responsible for handling Ma-Ro Catering's day-to-day marketing needs, as well as their sister kosher division. This role is highly independent, hands-on, and execution-focused. Success in this role means keeping marketing moving across both brands, maintaining brand consistency, and supporting sales and partnerships as needed. This is a fast growing company with many opportunities to evolve and expand as a professional.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing & Brand Execution
Manage day-to-day marketing activities for both brands across social media, email, and digital platforms.
Maintain both brands' look, voice, and visual standards
Execute marketing initiatives as they arise.
Social Media & Content
Plan, create, and post content across social media channels for both brands
Create, coordinate, and curate photo and video content from events
Write captions, short-form copy, and basic marketing materials
Sales & Partnership Support
Create marketing materials, decks, and proposals to support sales efforts
Assist with partnership outreach and RFP responses for both divisions as needed
Adapt existing materials for different clients, venues, and opportunities
General Marketing Support
Update website content and marketing assets as required
Coordinate with external vendors
Handle ad-hoc marketing requests tied to events and opportunities across both brands
Qualifications
2-5 years of experience in marketing or communications
Strong creative judgment and attention to brand detail
Organized and adaptable
Experience with social platforms, basic design tools, and content scheduling
Must be fluent in English
