Job Description

The Adventure Hotel and its affiliated brands (Empire Coffee, Louie's Steakhouse, Uptown Sports Bar, Grand Liquor Store) are seeking a creative, strategic, and data-driven Marketing Coordinator to join our team.

This is a dynamic role for someone who thrives in both collaborative and independent environments, with a strong passion for marketing and a solid understanding of the hospitality industry.

You'll play a key role in shaping brand identity, driving engagement and sales, and growing visibility across multiple platforms--from digital campaigns to on-the-ground activations. The ideal candidate is adaptable, enjoys variety, and is confident in both strategy and execution.

What You'll Do:

Brand & Content Creation

Develop engaging content for social media, email newsletters, blogs, and websites. Design on-brand marketing materials (Canva required; Adobe Creative Suite an asset). Capture and edit photos/videos for promotional use. Maintain consistent branding across all businesses and channels.
Digital Marketing & Website Management

Manage and update website (WordPress) with SEO best practices. Implement strategies to improve visibility and organic traffic. Track and analyze campaign performance using Google Analytics, SEMrush, and related tools. Grow social media presence on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, and TikTok. Plan and manage Google Ads campaigns.
Strategy & Partnerships

Support the development and execution of marketing campaigns to drive revenue and awareness. Analyse market trends and competitor activity to identify opportunities. Manage marketing budgets and measure ROI. Build and maintain relationships with press, PR contacts, sponsors, and local partners.
Special Projects & Events

Contribute to projects such as product development, website refreshes, and marketing kit/pitch deck creation. Assist in planning and promoting local events and community initiatives. Coordinate cross-brand campaigns across The Adventure Hotel and affiliated businesses.
What We're Looking For

Strong background in marketing and communications, experience in the hospitality industry is an asset. Creative mindset with the ability to balance big-picture strategy and hands-on execution. Proficiency in Canva; Adobe Suite skills are a plus. Solid understanding of SEO, website management (WordPress), and analytics tools. Strong writing and storytelling skills. Basic photography/videography and editing abilities. Highly organised, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. Team player who can also work independently.
Key Responsibilities

Advertising Management

Plan, execute, and evaluate advertising campaigns that drive awareness and sales. Ensure campaigns align with brand standards and business objectives.
Marketing Strategy Development

Conduct market research and provide insights for product and campaign development. Develop and implement marketing strategies, including direct and digital campaigns. Establish and maintain distribution networks.
Campaign Analysis

Lead post-campaign reviews and report on KPIs. Provide actionable insights to strengthen future marketing efforts.
Social Media Management

Manage and grow social media platforms. Engage with audiences, respond to reviews, and maintain a consistent brand voice.
Content Creation

Collaborate on creating promotional content including photos, videos, posters, press releases, menus, newsletters, and reports.
Community & Partnerships

Build and maintain relationships with local businesses and organisations.
Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Minimum 3 years of experience in marketing. Strong knowledge of digital marketing tools, analytics, and content management systems. Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills. Proven experience managing social media platforms and campaigns. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week
