YOUR ROLEReporting to the Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in the development of our wholesale strategy and activations as part of the go-to-market marketing plan for the ALDO Product Services portfolio of brands. They will play an important role in supporting our marketing partnerships with key retailers to drive significant results and growth while ensuring a 360-execution excellence and commercialization of branded portfolio. Additionally, they will support the wholesale business by assisting the tradeshows execution and sales key events.The position calls for a passionate individual with strong organizational skills - well-organized, structured and solutions oriented, who thrives by being in the action and can build relationships in cross functional teams.
  • Supports integrated marketing programs based on overall brand direction and business objectives and collaborates with field leadership team to ensure timely and flawless execution;
  • Assists with the coordination and planning of tradeshows and other PR/marketing events for the team, including managing the sourcing and distribution of samples and supplies, and other event admin as needed, as well as supporting in the execution of co-op marketing opportunities with key retailer accounts, tracking performance/results to share with internal partners;
  • Helps drive the development of wholesale account marketing plans to drive brand and product storytelling and maximize returns at key accounts;
  • Supports in the development of marketing materials for our sales team & key retailers with the support of the content team, allowing all channels to be successful by making sure we have the right assets from our external partners and creating program briefs;
  • Assists with the preparation of strategic presentations and pitches to unlock new opportunities for the brands;
  • Conducts research to gather marketing trends and competitive landscape for insights and key learnings to help develop go-to-market (GTM) strategies and tactical plans and share new ideas with internal partners;
  • Supports PR team with media/VIP requests and as needed, as well as assisting with compiling PR metrics
  • Supports the Brand & Marketing team with projects as needed
DO YOU HAVE THE PROFILE WE'RE LOOKING FOR?
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing, communications/PR, social media & influencer marketing;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, including but not limited to Excel, Word and PowerPoint;
  • Excellent communication, project management and organizational skills;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, both with internal and external stakeholders;
  • Ability to work effectively in a highly dynamic environment, under tight deadlines;
  • Bilingual French/English with excellent verbal & written English communication skills;
  • Background in fashion and wholesale industry strongly preferred;
  • Ability to travel quarterly will be required.
