We seek a Marketing & Communications Coordinator reporting to the Senior Marketing Lead. This role is based out of the Hydrogen Optimized office at 1800 17th Street East, Owen Sound, Ontario. Responsibilities for this position include:

• Assisting in the development and implementation of marketing plans and campaigns
• Overseeing branding, advertising, and promotional campaigns
• Assisting in the development of social media strategies & management of the company\'s social media presence across various platforms (i.e., LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.)
• Coordinating marketing strategies with the Business Development / Sales team
• Maintaining marketing plans and calendars, including communications such as emails, advertising, and media

• Designing and creating visually appealing, print-ready graphics for use on various marketing assets

• Preparing presentations in partnership with the Creative team
• Assisting with the distribution of marketing materials and preparing marketing packages for internal customers
• Assisting with creating photography and video for various uses, including interviews, tours, etc.
• Managing and updating company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Assisting with marketing events & facility tours
• Ensuring the entire organization is adhering to branding guidelines
• Other miscellaneous duties as assigned

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• A bachelor\'s degree in marketing, business, or a related field
• A minimum of 3-5 years of proven experience in a marketing coordinator, marketing manager or related role

• Passion for the marketing industry and its best practices
• Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing trends
• Strong organizational and project management skills, the ability to effectively manage conflicting priorities

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (advanced MS PowerPoint is a must)
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Familiarity with marketing software/tools
• WordPress, photography, image and video editing, and graphic design skills would be considered assets
• Adobe Creative Cloud experience would be considered an asset (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, innovative environment

• A strong desire to learn, along with a professional drive, must be available and willing to participate in any required training
• Must have access to reliable transportation
