Position Overview:



We are looking for a creative and results-driven

Marketing Coordinator

to join our dynamic team. This individual will help manage and execute print and digital marketing strategies that increase brand awareness, generate qualified leads, and contribute to Southern Irrigation's growth. You will be responsible for content creation, campaign development, lead generation, data analysis, seo optimization, budget management, and social media management. This is a hands-on role for someone passionate about the full spectrum of marketing and ready to make an impact in a growing industry.




Key Result Areas:




Brand Recognition:

Ensure strong, consistent brand presence and recognition across all locations and media channels, contributing to increased awareness of Southern Irrigation as the go-to provider of water solutions.

Lead Generation:

Increase the volume of qualified inbound leads through strategic campaigns, optimizing email marketing, and paid ad performance across platforms like Google Ads and Facebook Ads.

Sales Enablement:

Support sales opportunities and quote generation by delivering impactful marketing materials and campaigns that engage customers and prospects.

Campaign Performance:

Track and optimize marketing campaigns using HubSpot, focusing on lead capture, email effectiveness, and the ROI of digital ad campaigns (Google and Facebook ads).

Event Marketing Success:

Drive marketing initiatives around events like trade shows, open houses, and field days, ensuring high engagement and brand presence.

Key Responsibilities:




Brand Management & Promotion:




Champion the Southern Irrigation brand, ensuring consistency across all channels and touchpoints (online and offline). Implement our brand guidelines, that align with company values, ensuring impactful messaging across marketing materials. Raise awareness about Southern Irrigation as the go-to provider of water solutions across Canada. Promote company culture and values within the community and among customers. Oversee internal and external signage, event displays, and sales materials to ensure cohesive branding. Manage branded staff apparel and promotional items for customers (swag) to strengthen brand presence.

SEO Optimization

:


Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-traffic, low-competition keywords relevant to Southern Irrigation's offerings and optimize on-page SEO elements like title tags, meta descriptions, headers, and URL structures. Optimize website content, blogs, product pages, and other digital assets for search engine rankings, ensuring proper keyword placement, readability, and user experience. Implement on-page and off-page SEO strategies, including link-building, content optimization, and technical SEO audits. Monitor and report on keyword rankings, organic traffic, and other SEO KPIs using tools like Google Analytics or Ahrefs. Ensure proper SEO for local listings and maps to boost local search visibility for Southern Irrigation locations across Canada.

Campaign & Content Creation:




Collaborate with sales teams to develop a yearly marketing plan, quarterly campaigns, and budget recommendations. Execute multichannel marketing campaigns, including keyword research, messaging strategy, and content creation. Create compelling content, including copywriting and design for landing pages, blog posts, email marketing, and social media promotions. Develop sales enablement materials, including customer case studies, testimonials, catalogs, brochures, videos, and more to support the sales team and to generate marketable contacts. Continuously manage and optimize paid advertising programs (PPC, social media ads) to drive lead generation and sales opportunities. Leverage our eCommerce platform and related marketing tactics to drive online engagement and increase product visibility across digital channels. Leverage analytics to assess and refine campaigns for maximum ROI.

Lead Management & Marketing Operations:




Use HubSpot to capture marketable contacts, help analyze the effectiveness of your marketing systems, and to nurture captured emails through e-newsletters. Track sales leads created from marketing strategies to measure campaign roi. Oversee the marketing budget, ensuring alignment with the annual marketing plan and providing periodic reports to senior management on spending and results. Track campaign success and KPIs through HubSpot and social ad platforms (Google and Facebook), adjusting strategies to optimize future performance. Monitor eCommerce performance on the website, analyzing traffic, conversions, and online sales data to adjust marketing tactics accordingly. Collaborate with the Event Coordinator to develop lead generation strategies for external events, including trade shows, field days, and open houses.

Event Marketing & Community Engagement:




Partner with the Event Coordinator to drive the marketing efforts for community and industry events, ensuring high attendance and engagement. Create promotional materials for events and ensure Southern Irrigation is well-represented at trade shows, open houses, and other external events.

Required Qualifications:




Minimum 3 years of hands-on digital marketing experience. Marketing degree/certificate or equivalent practical experience. Strong creative copywriting skills, including the ability to write SEO-optimized copy. Proficiency in design software, including Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Lightroom. Experience with social media platforms such as Facebook Ads Manager, Instagram, and LinkedIn. Experience with eCommerce platforms like WooCommerce and eCommerce marketing tactics such as product listings, conversion rate optimization (CRO), and online ad campaigns is a plus. Familiarity with tools like Google Analytics 4, Microsoft Clarity, Ahrefs, HubSpot, and MS Office Suite (PowerPoint, Excel, Word). Experience in web design and development, using tools such as Wordpress Experience managing and optimizing paid ad campaigns with google ads and Microsoft ads. Ability to track and report on campaign performance and adjust strategies accordingly. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
