Role Summary
You are a self-motivated, ambitious Marketing Professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment. You prefer a role that allows for maximum autonomy to be creative and get stuff done! Reporting directly to the VP, Growth, you'll be accountable for all Marketing efforts at Nucleus and will also support the Business Development team with various initiatives. What defines success in this role? Creating brand awareness, generating new leads, and amplifying Nucleus' amazing culture to attract top tech-talent. This is a hybrid position, working at least one day per week in our Downtown Vancouver office.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develop and execute marketing strategy, working with VP, Growth
Manage Sales and Marketing ticket queues
Manage all external social media channels
Manage the Nucleus website and blog
Manage internal and external events
Interface with clients, partners, and internal teams on various marketing initiatives
Create and edit all types of marketing and branding content for all platforms
Support HR by leveraging our employer brand for recruitment efforts
Generate inbound leads for all Nucleus revenue streams
Increase Nucleus' brand awareness within the markets it operates
Assist the Business Development team with various administrative tasks (5% of scope/effort)
Assist with graphic design creation
Manage other initiatives as required
Required Skills and Qualifications
Post-secondary degree in Business Development and/or Marketing is considered an asset
At least two years of experience in a similar role, ideally at an MSP or IT company
Experience 'owning' Marketing within an organization
Experience with Social Media management and automation
Experience with Online Advertising and Tracking
Experience with WordPress
Experience with HubSpot Marketing Professional is considered an asset
Experience with SEO tactics such as landing pages etc.
Video Editing and Graphic design skills would be considered a bonus (experience with Canva)
Proactive, strategic approach to marketing
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong client-facing skills and teamwork skills
Works well under pressure with a strong attention to detail
Ability to think 'outside the box' and enjoys flexing the creativity muscles
