The Coordinator, Marketing role strategically builds the profile of Holt Renfrew and its product and experience offering through the development of exciting and high standard events, and building exceptional relationships with media and community partners.

Specific responsibilities include (but are not limited to) the following:

  • Administer and oversee the ongoing maintenance of Marketing programs or processes
  • Coordinate merchant/store events as per the calendar of events
  • Support the store management team to develop event concepts and extraordinary in store experiences in partnership with the corporate marketing team.
  • Support with the execution of sponsorship and partnership programs to reduce the store event costs where applicable.
  • Support in the development of guests lists.
  • Oversee administration for events, including managing budgets, expenses, critical paths/schedules.
  • Monitor and enhance systems to track, analyze and archive results for events and media coverage.
  • Provide strong level of proactive and reactive service to media seeking to pull products for use in editorial print and television shoots
  • Facilitate all television and photography shoots, ensuring the most appropriate positioning for Holt Renfrew.
  • Collaborate with newspaper and fashion editors to assist in promoting Holt Renfrew as a fashion destination.
  • Coordinate marketing outreach programs with community partners (business associations, Tourism, hotels, etc.) to drive traffic into stores.
  • Comply with all Health & Safety policies and requirements
  • Perform other duties, as assigned
The ideal candidate:
  • Post-secondary degree in a related field or equivalent experience
  • 1-2 years of post-university work experience
  • Demonstrated leadership and influencing skills with the ability to get things done
  • Excellent interpersonal skills; a team player who is able to act as both a leader and an individual contributor as required
  • Confident and effective communication (written & verbal) and interpersonal skills
  • Is adaptable and comfortable with ambiguity and change
  • Highly service-oriented with exceptional organizational and follow up skills
  • Passionate about fashion and luxury retailing
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
