What You\'ll Do:

Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you\'ll be responsible for working with the marketing team to ensure marketing initiatives are scheduled and executed in priority sequence, ensuring initiatives are approved and deadline dates are met. The Marketing Coordinator is also responsible for managing assigned projects and campaigns from end-to-end, including oversight, tracking of budget and escalating issues as necessary.

The core parts of your role will be to:

  • Manage assigned projects and campaigns from end-to-end, including oversight, tracking of budget and escalating issues as necessary.
  • Liaise with internal teams and external agencies to ensure weekly marketing status reports, and workback schedules are kept up to date and completed according to the approved scope of work and approved budget.
  • Liaise with marketing team and agencies to obtain estimates, develop creative content for promotions, newsletters, advertisements and contests.
  • Support the marketing team to implement campaigns and contests from start to finish; tasks include brainstorming, writing recommendations, and developing marketing plans.
  • Assist with the implementation of the marketing plan; tasks include finalizing artwork, deployment of tactics, and assisting with tracking and reporting of results.
  • Maintain inventory of marketing collateral and supplies; tasks include ordering brochures, supplies, swag and prizes, as required.
  • Perform content updates to all brand websites using an internal content management system.
Qualifications

This is the unique blend of skills and experience we would love to see in an ideal candidate:
  • A university degree or college diploma in Business, Marketing, Communications or a related subject.
  • One to three years experience in marketing or advertising.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.
  • Exceptional communication skills and a demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior time management, project management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Knowledge of the individual insurance industry is considered an asset.
  • Knowledge of SalesForce Marketing Cloud and Kentico platforms is considered an asset.
  • The ability to communicate in French is considered an asset.
