We're Looking For:

AFC is looking for a Marketing Content Strategist that will lead the planning and creation of useful and compelling content for external customers. In this role, you will research keywords and key audiences to create meaningful content that markets the brand's products and services, and targets key personas throughout the sales cycle to drive engagement. Across multiple forms, media, and channels, you will unite the art and science of content --strategizing, concepting, structuring, creating, adapting, publishing, and measuring.

You Will:

Develop and deliver accurate and timely content for specific customer segments and stages of our funnel.

Conduct content analysis, auditing and assessing content sources and identifying gaps and needs, with a specific focus on key phrases and SEO.

Monitor and leverage content data to determine health of content and share insights.

Assist in planning editorial calendars and cadences for content publishing.

Collaborate, build relationships, and share knowledge with team members and partners as needed.

Participate in the creative review process to improve the quality of content and provide open, honest, and constructive feedback.

Master the company's voice and tone and contribute to the development of the brand guidelines.

Who You Will Work With:

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Content Strategist will collaborate with partners and team members across departments, gathering the information required to develop relevant content for specific audiences.

Must Have's:

5+ Years of experience in creating/writing/developing content for web and other digital media.

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, Journalism or related field.

Knowledge of content management systems, digital asset management, databases and SEO standard methodologies.

Strong editing and proofreading skills with exceptional attention to detail.

Sound analytical, organizational, and project management skills.

Ability to work autonomously but also collaborative within a team.

Curious, innovative, and passionate about learning.
