We're seeking a dynamic Creative Marketing Strategist who's ready to take the lead in shaping how our brands come to life across every touchpoint.
Summary
The Marketing & Content Coordinator supports the company's multi-property portfolio by coordinating marketing materials, managing content across digital platforms, creation and execution of social media, and collaborating with various departments to ensure brand consistency. This role provides creative and operational support for internal and external marketing initiatives, including content creation, vendor management, digital profile upkeep, and campaign coordination.
Key Responsibilities
Marketing Coordination & Sourcing
Source marketing materials for all departments across the organization.
Coordinate marketing assets for internal documents, staff training, and brand standards.
Work closely with third-party vendors such as photographers, videographers, designers, and influencers.
Support the development and rollout of company-wide marketing projects and campaigns and ability to measure KPIs based on company goals.
Social Media Support
(Note: execution may be done in-house or by a third party)
Assist in developing social media ideas, themes, and content concepts.
Coordinate or collaborate on design assets for social media use.
Support scheduling and organization of social media posts across platforms.
Track KPIs and performance metrics, reporting findings to leadership.
Digital Advertising
Coordinate with 3rd party vendor to request digital ads and ensure scheduled postings.
Review ads for accuracy, brand alignment, and timely deployment.
Ensure ongoing communication regarding campaign expectations and updates.
Guest Experience Initiatives
Participate in brainstorming and development of guest experience programs and other interactive experiences.
Support creation of materials, signage, digital assets, and guest-facing copy for these initiatives.
Print & Marketing Material Coordination
Coordinate the design, ordering, and scheduling of printed content including:
Sales sheets
Brochures
Online print shop materials
Campaign collateral
Ensure brand consistency across all printed materials and platforms.
Content Creation
Develop content for e-newsletters, blog posts, confirmation pages, and marketing campaigns.
Assist with updating images and content on Home Hotels and Days Inn websites.
Collaborate with Adtel and other vendors for audio, marketing, or promotional content.
Write and edit hotel room descriptions to ensure they are unique, on-brand, and consistent across websites and booking platforms.
Online Profile & Reputation Support
Work with each General Manager to review and maintain online business profiles, including:
Google Business Profile
Bing Places
TripAdvisor
Expedia, Booking.com, and other OTAs
Ensure logos, photos, descriptions, amenities, and promotions are accurate and consistent.
Tourism Partnerships
Coordinate with local and provincial Tourism Offices to provide updated photos, logos, descriptions, and promotions.
Ensure property information remains accurate and aligned with marketing campaigns.
Qualifications
Diploma or degree in Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or related field (or equivalent experience).
1-3 years of experience in marketing coordination, content creation, or digital communications.
Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
Experience with social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram) and scheduling tools.
Familiarity with content management systems and basic website updating.
Ability to coordinate multiple vendors and timelines simultaneously.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of hospitality or tourism sectors is an asset but not required.

Comfortable reviewing analytics and tracking KPIs.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Proficient with Microsoft Office, Canva, Adobe tools (asset but not required), and social media publishing tools.
