As a thriving auction company since 1960, we have been busy selling everything from combines & tractors to tillable farm acreage, hay, and livestock. We also sell an array of assets including construction equipment, large estates, business holdings, and more! From that time forward, the company has experienced a continued growth pattern & an expansion of offered services.

The Marketing Content Coordinator at Steffes Auctioneers will play an integral role in achieving optimal advertising opportunities for auctions in Canada. This role requires open communication with both internal employees and external clients over various platforms. The Marketing Content Coordinator will initially work remotely, with the expectation of eventually being based out of a Steffes Auctioneers office near Regina, Saskatchewan. The Marketing Content Coordinator reports directly to the Marketing Lead.

COORDINATION RESPONSIBILITES

Communicate clearly with Sales Representatives & clients on a per-auction basis to understand the specific sales strategy, demographics, and goals of each auction event Maintain consistent communication with the Sales team on the status of contracts, lists, information sheets, and other necessary data required for creation of advertising support Organize strategic placement of advertising for each auction to achieve maximum exposure, while adhering to budget & client expectations Perform market research, while strategizing with other marketing team members on how to best create awareness of Steffes Attend weekly team meetings to brainstorm new methods of marketing as well as update on current & ongoing projects Assist other Steffes team members both in the administrative aspect as related to advertising, but also with various other tasks on an as-needed basis
CONTENT RESPONSIBILITES

Collaborate with other teams (e.g. sales, coordinators) to produce content, and provide them with guidance to maintain our brand standards Provide photography & videography to meet company needs, both auction-specific and institutionally Use content management and other publishing tools for the production, organization, and aggregation of content Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, tools, and applications Serve as subject matter expert (SME) for understanding how content marketing can support business objectives Demonstrate a creative mindset by developing innovative ideas for content creation that align with brand standards and marketing objectives, promoting Steffes Auctioneers across multiple industries, including agriculture, construction, oil, gas, and transportation Willingness to travel and work on-site at auction events or other locations to capture high-quality content that reflects the company's vision and engages target audiences. Experience with video editing software (e.g., Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro) is a plus but not required.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Previous experience of 2 years in a related field or equivalent degree Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) Proficiency with Adobe Programs (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat, or related software) is a bonus Strong working computer knowledge and ability to navigate several platforms simultaneously
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required, including coordinating advertising materials from start to finish on behalf of multiple auctions simultaneously Ability to negotiate rates & contracts with advertising publishers Ability to work both independently and in a group environment, while maximizing workplace relationships and assisting in the continued effort to build a positive company reputation Communication across multiple platforms while working with a variety of people Deadline-oriented mindset with the ability to work well under time-sensitive, high-pressure situations, while adapting quickly to changes Ability to collaborate effectively with a diverse group of dynamic, passionate individuals, fostering positive relationships and teamwork across departments.
