WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Assistant Marketing Manager will support the global Marketing Managing Director & Partner and broader Leadership Team of the Marketing, Sales, & Pricing (MSP) Practice in the development and execution of our marketing strategy to help us build and strengthen client relationships and position us as thought leaders in the market. The candidate will have a global responsibility across all marketing channels including publications, events, social media, PR, and traditional media. You will collaborate across topic businesses within MSP and help develop their annual marketing plan, manage their publication pipelines & content distribution, plan and execute conferences, events, and partnerships as well as drive overarching campaigns. Additional tasks include reviews of our marketing performance, preparation of recommendations to key stakeholders, and helping to continuously evolve our offering.

YOU BRING (EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS)

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 6-8 years of experience in B2B or professional services marketing required, with a focus on thought leadership, events, multichannel marketing, social media, and content creation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Some familiarity with the MSP practice's topic businesses: customer demand & innovation, marketing, sales, pricing, customer experience
  • Prior experience working with C-suite level customers with high professional presence and communication style
  • Prior experience developing thought leadership and managing a content calendar
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

The Assistant Marketing Manager will work closely with the MSP Marketing Manager and Marketing Managing Director & Partner for the MSP-level marketing strategy and overarching initiatives. The candidate will work with Topic Leaders, Topic Managers and respective topic experts when supporting the strategic marketing plan for MSP. For implementation, the candidate will work in close alignment with other BCG marketing entities on global, regional, and local level depending on the channels used. The candidate will also work closely with their marketing peers to share best practices, support overarching initiatives, and collaborate daily as needed.
