You are working with the Web and E-Commerce Manager to coordinate marketing website content and the rapidly growing and evolving e-commerce portfolio. Accountabilities:

  • Coordinate information for updating all website-related properties, business information, product information, special promotions, and events
  • Provide copywriting assistance for website applications and general copywriting support as needed to the Marketing and Communications team
  • Manage the administration and requests for gift certificates, donations, complimentary mountain products, and familiarization tours
  • Research industry best practices related to website user experience for design and functionality improvements
  • E-Commerce platform coordination, as required
  • Snow Reporting assistance and weather forecasting coordination
  • Assistance with online guest feedback coordination
  • Monitor and maintain Google business listings and other third-party web-based platforms
  • Assistance with market research programming
  • Maintain analytics, reporting, and key metrics, as required
  • Project management software coordination
  • Support to Social Media and Communications team, as required
  • Work cross-functionally throughout the organization with multiple departments and business units on various programs and activities related to connected marketing initiatives
Ideal Candidate:
  • Post-secondary education in Marketing, Commerce, or a related field
  • 2-3 years experience working in resort, hospitality, or outdoor-related industry is considered an asset
  • Equivalent combination of education and work experience may be considered
  • Strong computer literacy is required
  • Backend website and content management software and web analytics are considered an asset
  • Knowledge of traditional and digital marketing tools
  • Strong copywriting and editing experience
  • Experience in and knowledge of the mountain resort industry is considered an asset
  • Proficiency in managing projects, works well under pressure and maintains a professional approach while coordinating with in-resort and external stakeholders
  • Willingness to learn and jump in on a range of projects
  • Flexibility, responsiveness, and proactivity are crucial
  • Weekend and holiday work required
  • A passion for outdoor recreation: skiing, snowboarding, biking, and golf are all considered assets
  • Valid driver's license
  • Authorized to work in Canada
