COMPANY NAME: Chartered Professionals in Human Resources of Alberta Association (CPHR Alberta) POSITION TITLE: Marketing and Communications Coordinator Reports To: Manager, Marketing and Communications POSITION SUMMARY:
Reporting to the Manager, Marketing and Communications the Marketing and Communications Coordinator is responsible for implementation of marketing and communications initiatives of the department including but not limited to the planning and execution of marketing campaigns, social media, communications materials, and advertising opportunities through the association that aligns with CPHR Alberta\xe2\x80\x99s strategic goals. This Calgary based position is a full-time hybrid role which will work a 37.5 hour condensed week with an office closure on Friday afternoons. POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare graphic design (print and digital).
  • Assist with external media buying and strategy development.
  • Manage, monitor, and report on Social Media and create, draft, and publish social media and SEO web content as required.
  • Update website content and internal documents ensuring consistency with brand.
  • Planning and execution of member e-communications including content writing related to marketing campaigns.
  • Sell, coordinate, and track internal advertising opportunities with interested third parties.
  • Collaborate in the planning, coordination, and implementation of marketing campaigns and communications plans utilizing e-communications and social media that promote current initiatives.
  • Measure effectiveness of marketing campaigns to analyze and improve the effectiveness of member outreach.
  • Maintain documentation and records of previous and current projects.
  • Assist with preparations as required, for the annual CPHR Alberta conference including creation and roll out of promotional materials, digital and print advertising, social media scheduling and content development.

  • Proven ability to write a variety of content in different styles and voices depending on the delivery and purpose.
  • Excellent written and verbal communications skills for internal and external work.
  • Advanced computer skills in MS Office.
  • Experience with managing social media is required (experience with Hootsuite is a strong asset).
  • Experience with Adobe creative cloud is required (video editing is a strong asset).
  • Experience with website maintenance is a strong asset.
  • Proficiency in using a customer database is desired.
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Diploma or degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 1-3 years experience in a marketing and/or communications role
  • Non-profit experience is an asset
  • Exposure to the HR field is an asset
  • Prior customer service experience is an asset
