Marketing and Communications Specialist

Our client, an up and coming, fast growing, financial company offering an array of Financial & Real Estate Services, is looking to add a Marketing and Communications Specialist to their team.

Position: Marketing and Communications Specialist

Compensation: $50,000 - $65,000

Expected Start Date: As soon as possible (within 2 weeks minimum)

Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day support to the sales team regarding all things Marketing
  • Refresh outdated content and create new ideas/designs (through Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign, Constant Contact Email Campaigns, Hootsuite Scheduling)
  • Create event invitations, e-blasts and collect all data via Constant Contact
  • Edit 5-to-10-minute videos on Final Cut Pro X
  • Set up a video shoot set with Box Lighting, Led Lights, Rode Microphone and Canon Camera, with green screen set up
  • Focus on growing brand awareness, customer engagement and social presence
  • Respond to customer inquiries on social media within 24 hours
  • Lead new content marketing efforts
  • Track and manage Marketing budgets
  • Responsible for the editorial content, development and delivery of newsletters and press releases
  • Thoroughly proof-reads communications materials in order to ensure grammatical and content accuracy
  • Participates in brainstorming sessions, reviews content, edits and assures that all appropriate approvals have taken place
  • Manage all cross- organizational marketing and communications materials
  • Liaise and Coordinate submissions to outsourcing companies for final product delivery
  • Effectively manages time and many, sometimes conflicting, priorities
  • Coordinate and plan all corporate events, sponsorships and networking seminars
Qualifications
  • University Degree or College Diploma focused on Sales or Marketing
  • Minimum of 5+ years of Graphic Design Experience with Portfolio (*Mandatory)
  • Advanced Level of Knowledge and Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
  • Efficiently Navigate and Use Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Ability to Effectively Use Constant Contact and Hootsuite for Marketing Campaigns
  • Ability to Navigate and Use Social Media Platforms (e.g., Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube and LinkedIn)
  • Ability to Consolidate a Large Volume of Data into Insightful Information
  • Strong Communication and Organizational Skills including Experience Developing Executive Presentation
  • Must be a Quick Learner willing to take initiative
  • Must be Detailed Orientated and Work Efficiently and Independently
  • Committed to Producing Marketing Material of Utmost Superior Quality and Excellence
About the role
  • 2-year full time-contract with permanent status available after fulfillment
  • Position includes up to a 44-hour work week
  • Must own a vehicle and have full access at all times
  • Mandatory attendance in Company Annual Events
