The Edge Benefits Inc. is looking for an experienced Marketing Administrator on a permanent, full-time basis to join our Marketing Department. Our head office is located in Newmarket, Ontario. This is a fully remote opportunity with occasional travel to Head Office for employees located within a reasonable driving distance. Reporting to the Marketing Director, the Marketing Administrator performs a variety of administrative functions that support the Marketing Department and provides support services to Business Operations, Distribution, and Advisors.
Specific Duties
Manage the Marketing Department inboxes including analyzing the context of inquiries, escalating questions to the appropriate stakeholders, and responding to emails accurately and efficiently
Issue continuing education (CE) accreditation credits to advisors
Facilitate the maintenance of internal and external resource files, contributing to routine audits, assisting with updates, uploading files to the Marketing administrative website, and managing file version tracking
Update and format administrative procedural documentation and resource files as assigned
Maintain social media accounts as assigned, and respond to comments and inquiries
Administer website access and investigate system issues to provide accurate assistance to a variety of user groups who have different permission-based requirements
Facilitate the management and distribution of reports and statistics as assigned
Maintain the company's email subscription lists including recording bounce backs and unsubscribes and communicating changes to the appropriate departments
Test web-based systems and edit materials as needed to ensure they comply with user requirements and uphold brand consistency
Create content and distribute communications to advisors, clients, and staff as needed
Assist with print and promotional fulfilment and inventory management, as assigned
Your Qualifications
Must be fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication
Strong inter-personal skills and professionalism with demonstrated ability to interact with people at all levels of an organization
Take ownership and accountability of the accuracy and timely completion of assigned tasks and projects
Exceptional analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills
Proven organizational, planning and prioritization skills
Must be detail oriented while maintaining a high degree of accuracy in time sensitive situations
Ability to manage multiple projects, tasks and assignments while adhering to strict deadlines
Fluent with Microsoft Office applications and possess a strong technical aptitude
Post-secondary education, or a combination of relevant education and work experience
3-5 years of marketing or administrative experience; insurance industry experience an asset
