POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a Marketing Administrator to join our Edmonton office to support the Operations and Profile & Client Development teams. Reporting to the Manager, Profile and Client Development, this person will play a vital role to support the day-to-day activities of the Edmonton office. The successful candidate will be a creative and solutions-oriented team player with exceptional organization and a keen eye for detail.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Profile & Client Development :

  • Assist in day-to-day activities for select Firm practice and sector groups, including tracking progress on key initiatives, market research, and execution of business development plans
  • Support the onboarding process for new lawyer hires, including arranging photography sessions
  • Assist in the preparation of directory submissions, including information sourcing, data gathering, and follow-up
  • Oversee and manage sports and event tickets
  • Coordinate promotional products
  • Other duties as assigned
Office administration:
  • Support and coordinate initiatives identified in the Edmonton office\'s strategic plan, including with regard to community relations
  • Assist with managing vendor relationships and processing invoices for payment with accounting
  • Assist with coordinating internal events and community outreach
REQUIREMENTS
  • High attention to detail and superior organization skills to juggle multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment
  • Creative, enthusiastic and results-driven team-player who can work collaboratively with local and national multidisciplinary teams;
  • Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an ability to effectively communicate with individuals at all levels of the Firm
  • Superior organizational and project management skills-ability to multi-task; prioritize and organize deliverables; work under pressure; and work with multifaceted, complex projects;
  • Highly professional approach at all times
  • Ability to work overtime is required
  • Must be proficient working with the entire Microsoft Office Suite; experience with InterAction or a similar CRM database is an asset;
  • Experience working with lawyers or other professionals is an asset
