Discovery Research specializes in conducting face-to-face interviewing across Canada. We have a network of contracted personal interviewers in most major cities. We have been in business since 1998 and have consistently grown. In addition to fielding onsite staff we offer full market research services including survey writing, programming, telephone surveys, mail surveys, statistical analysis, report writing, and consulting.



Primary Duties: Manage interviewers, organize project logistics

The primary duty of the successful applicant will be managing teams of interviewers that are conducting face to face interviewing. This includes recruiting, training, and managing interviewers, as well as communicating with clients to successfully execute the project. You will work primarily from our office in Vernon, so interactions with interviewers and clients are thru telephone, email and text.

Secondary Duties: All Aspects of Market Research Project management

With experience, the Project Coordinator will eventually complete all aspects of research management: Generate proposals; Design questionnaires; Program online surveys; Generate statistical tables; Generate results: data files, tabular results and full written reports. Hiring and organizing business sub-contractors (printers, mail companies and other research companies).

Friendly, Personable - The successful applicant will be excellent working with people. Friendly, personable and eager to please clients. Polite, professional and personable communicating with contracted interviewers.

Detail Oriented - must be able to pay attention to all details of a project, making sure nothing is forgotten. The end goal is to meet or exceed the expectations of all clients.

Dedicated, Reliable - making sure a project is completed to the client's satisfaction - This could require after business hours communications with interviewers and clients.

Smart, Quick Learner - Must be able to adapt to a variety of projects. An interest in research and statistics.

The successful applicant will have experience working with MS Word and Excel, and be comfortable working with computers. SPSS experience would be good. A background in managing people or market research or human resources would be an asset. A bachelor's degree is preferred, but relevant experience will be considered.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
