COMMENCING: May 1, 2023 until June 30, 2023 or one day prior to return of incumbent
COMPENSATION: Non-Union $27.08 per hour
HOURS: 7.0 hours per day
POSITION DESCRIPTION: An itinerant Ojibway language Support Instructor is required to assist in Ojibway language programming
throughout the Louis Riel School Division. Duties include working alongside Indigenous Education team and
classroom teachers to support language and cultural programming and professional development for staff. REQUIRED AND PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: \xe2\x80\xa2
completion of Grade 12 education \xe2\x80\xa2
related post-secondary education preferred \xe2\x80\xa2
experience working with Indigenous communities, students, and organizations \xe2\x80\xa2
fully bilingual in Ojibway \xe2\x80\xa2
knowledge of traditional Indigenous teachings \xe2\x80\xa2
excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills \xe2\x80\xa2
