Marine Construction Laborer
Job Description
Duties will include but not limited to,
Building timber floating docks
Building timber wharves
Working on boats and barges
Annual installation and removal of floating docks
Extended periods of kneeling when decking in floats and wharves
Extended periods of driving spikes ranging from 4" - 8"
Comfortable working around the water
Comfortable working outside
Must have own transportation to and from work
Minimum of valid Class 5 drivers license
Preferably non smoker for safety
Preference will be given to candidates that have any of the following experiences,
Carpentry
Mechanical
Marine
Construction
Running front end loader
Power saw knowledge
Close and able to be reliable
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 50 per week
Flexible language requirement:
French not required
Schedule:
Monday to Friday
Weekends as needed
Language:
English (preferred)
