Construction Laborer Decks / Concrete
Job Description
As a Construction Laborer, you will play a crucial role in creating stunning backyard spaces for our clients. The primary focus of Augustine Construction is on concrete work, deck construction, fence installation, and framing. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with previous experience in these areas, as well as those eager to learn and grow in the construction industry.
Key Responsibilities:
Execute construction tasks including concrete work, deck building, fence installation, and framing.
Operate power tools and equipment efficiently and safely.
Work collaboratively with the team to ensure project completion within specified timelines.
Adapt to varying work schedules in the winter, starting at approximately 20-40 hours per week, with increases to 40-50 hours during busy summer months.
Demonstrate physical strength and ability to comfortably lift 70+ pounds.
Uphold safety standards and protocols on construction sites.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in construction and
using tools
, with a focus on concrete, deck, fence, or framing construction preferred. A G2 driver's license is a minimum requirement. Must have reliable transportation to and from our shop located near Fanshawe College.Comfortable using power tools and construction equipment.
Physical fitness and ability to lift heavy materials. Strong work ethic and reliability.Benefits:
