Summary

Are you looking to gain unique lab experience in the world of biotech? STEMCELL Technologies is searching for our next Manufacturing Technologist in our Labs group!

This is an exciting position where you are able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic team environment, supporting downstream activities for our cell separation products. You will be purifying and conjugating antibodies, and operating production equipment. If you thrive in a collaborative laboratory environment with opportunities to grow, you could be a great addition to the Manufacturing team.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Execute antibody purification and conjugation workflows following written manufacturing protocols
  • Identify, setup and operate production equipment (i.e. AKTA Pure Chromatography Systems)
  • Maintain accurate data records (electronic and hard copies)
  • Adhere to our Quality Management System standards, and follow all quality assurance procedures
  • Support and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and safety
Knowledge and Qualifications
  • Bachelors in life science (eg. Chemistry, Biochemistry) with 1-2 years of relevant work/co-op experience
  • Familiarity with aseptic technique and other basic lab skills (i.e. use of pH meter, UV spectrometer preferred), with knowledge of quality systems such as ISO 13485 and cGMP experience a bonus
  • Flexibility for a Saturday to Wednesday schedule
  • Strong oral and written communication skills, knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google applications highly desirable
  • Ability to work in a fast paced and team oriented environment
