Our venture companies develop, validate and manufacture our innovations, then forge partnerships with global companies to bring our products to the international clinical market. In this role, you will work with medical devices used in cutting-edge diagnostic imaging technologies. Our manufacturing technicians assemble, test, inspect and package medical tubing sets that are sent to hospitals and clinics all over the world. Apply good manufacturing practices (GMP) in a medical device manufacturing setting, while working hygienically in an ISO level 7 certified clean room. We are seeking several motivated new members who are looking for an opportunity to get involved with medical device manufacturing in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. Our ideal candidate is detail-oriented and comfortable working with small parts and fine details. Candidates must be able to work both independently and as a member of a diverse team while maintaining focus in a busy, dynamic environment. We are looking for reliable team members, who can commit to working Monday to Friday. Opportunities for extra hours and overtime may be available after an initial training period is completed. The duties and responsibilities of the position are the following:

  • Follow instructions for measuring, manual assembly, robotic automated assembly, testing, inspection, and packaging of medical devices.
  • Use simple manual tools or fixtures to aid in the manipulation of small parts.
  • Load/unload and operate machinery used in robotic automated production.
  • Work in a controlled environment (clean room) while wearing full PPE.
  • Complete documentation neatly and according to protocol.
  • Demonstrate excellent understanding and adherence to hygiene and cleanliness requirements.
  • Work on self-directed tasks within a collaborative team environment.
  • Other duties as assigned or determined.
Qualifications:
  • Must have High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Must be fluent in written and spoken English.
  • Able to use technical documents, tools, fixtures, and test equipment (after training).
  • Experience in a laboratory setting is an asset.
  • Recreational or professional experience working with small parts/tools is an asset.
Job Type: Full-time Salary: $18.00-$21.00 per hour Benefits:
