Summary

STEMCELL Technologies is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manufacturing Team Lead, GMP with a strong background in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
In this role you will oversee day-to-day operations in the cleanroom, serving as a subject matter expert in both downstream and upstream processes. As a Manufacturing Team Lead, GMP you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient completion of production schedules, maintaining compliance with safety protocols, and fostering a culture of quality within the manufacturing team.



Duties and Responsibilities

Serve as a subject matter expert in cleanroom operations, scheduling and equipment in order to supervise and oversee day-to-day operations

Provide coaching and mentorship to staff to ensure compliance to GMP regulations and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), including providing feedback to manufacturing manager

Participate in the initiation and closure of critical Quality Management System (QMS) tasks, including Non Conformance Reports (NCRs) and other technical writing efforts

Review and allocate manpower and assign work to the team based on the weekly schedule

Assist in streamlining workflow as well as developing and implementing new processes whilst demonstrating a strong commitment to safety, quality, and continuous improvement

Knowledge and Qualifications

Bachelor of Science in a life sciences related discipline with 3-5 years of hands-on experience in GMP manufacturing in a cleanroom setting

Proficiency in aseptic techniques and a strong understanding of biotech manufacturing processes

Desire to build collaborative relationships with colleagues with the proactive ability to lead team members

Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, with the ability to articulate complex ideas clearly

Ability to work with an adaptable work schedule based on production needs, including shift basis as required to meet business demands

The annual base salary for this job ranges from: $78,640.00 - $118,000.00

STEMCELL determines an individual\'s pay within the range based on multiple factors including experience, education, job-related skills, and equity within the team or organization. For jobs that are eligible for sales incentives, the range noted above is inclusive of target incentives; actual incentives are based on individual performance results in accordance with company policy. In addition to base salary, STEMCELL offers a comprehensive total rewards package including health benefits, retirement savings, and more.
