About the Role:

We're looking for a motivated and hands-on Team Lead to join our Assembly team on the weekend shift in Colborne. If you're a natural leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and takes pride in driving quality, safety, and team success--you'll fit right in.



As Team Lead, you'll be the go-to person on the floor--coordinating workflow, communicating production targets, supporting operators, and ensuring the shift runs smoothly and efficiently. You'll play a key role in fostering a productive and positive work environment while helping the team meet and exceed daily goals.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and support your team in meeting daily production targets Conduct daily huddles and communicate shift expectations clearly Monitor staffing and coverage with Value Stream Supervisors Track and update dashboards, cell boards, and operator efficiency Troubleshoot issues, support material flow, and flag bottlenecks early Encourage cross-training and skill development Promote safety-first habits and adhere to company policies Drive continuous improvement using KPI metrics and team input Perform other duties as needed to support the weekend shift

Qualifications:

Previous experience leading a team in a manufacturing environment (Min of 3 years) Knowledge of plant operations, lean manufacturing systems & quality metrics Strong organization and communication skills Comfortable making decisions and keeping things moving A team-first attitude with a drive to get the job done right

How We Measure Success:

Line output: On-time, in-full (OTIF) First Time Quality (FTQ): Build it right, the first time Safety: Observations, near-miss reports, compliance Efficiency & Labor Use: Meeting production standards and improvements over time

Working Conditions:

Fast-paced, high-pressure, efficiency-driven environment. Weekend 12-hour shifts (Friday-Sunday or Saturday-Monday, depending on business needs) Indoor manufacturing environment with overhead cranes, forklifts, and equipment Fast-paced and physically active (lifting up to 50 lbs as needed, with support) Temperatures may vary depending on season
