About the Role:



We're building complex, high-performance robotic systems--and we're entering a critical phase of growth. Over the next 12-24 months, we plan to scale our production capacity by

20x

. We're looking for a

Manufacturing Scaling Lead

to lead this transition from low-volume builds to efficient, repeatable production.



This is a hands-on, high-impact role ideal for someone who's passionate about building manufacturing systems from the ground up and wants to be instrumental in bringing cutting-edge robotics to the real world at scale.



What You'll Do:





Lead the development and implementation of scalable manufacturing processes to support a 20x increase in production over a 12-24 month period. Design efficient assembly, integration, and test workflows for

complex robotic assemblies

Collaborate with design engineering to ensure products are optimized for manufacturability (DFM) and testability (DFT) Develop fixtures, tools, and process documentation to ensure consistent, high-quality builds. Identify and resolve production bottlenecks; drive continuous improvement in throughput, yield, and cost. Partner with supply chain and operations teams to scale vendor and supplier capabilities. Plan and optimize production space layout and material flow. Own and maintain detailed process documentation, quality standards, and traceability systems.


What You'll Need:





5-10 years of experience in

robotics hardware manufacturing,

automotive manufacturing or other complex products, with a strong track record of

scaling production

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Proven experience taking

complex robotic assemblies

from prototype to high-rate production. Deep knowledge of DFM, lean manufacturing, and process optimization. Proficiency in

SolidWorks

for fixture and tooling design. Strong hands-on problem-solving skills, with a presence on the production floor. Experience working with contract manufacturers and supply chain scaling. Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. Comfortable working in fast-paced, early-stage environments.




Bonus Points:





Experience scaling robotic systems, automation hardware, or other high-complexity products. Background in production test systems, process automation, or data-driven manufacturing improvement.
