Manufacturing Team Lead - 3D Printing & CNC Milling

We are seeking a highly organized and technically skilled
Manufacturing Team Lead
to oversee our 3D printing and milling operations in a fast-paced dental laboratory environment. As a full-service dental lab, we are committed to transforming smiles through cutting-edge technology and exceptional craftsmanship. This full-time leadership role is ideal for someone who thrives under pressure, leads by example, and has a passion for operational excellence, quality, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and support a team of 3D printing and milling technicians through clear direction, coaching, and constructive feedback.
Delegate and prioritize daily production tasks based on case urgency, workflow requirements, and machine availability.
Troubleshoot equipment and software issues, coordinating timely maintenance and minimizing production delays.
Ensure output quality and consistency through adherence to SOPs, design standards, and digital workflows.
Monitor inventory levels, manage material usage, and identify opportunities to reduce waste and improve efficiency.
Champion continuous improvement, identifying and implementing changes that optimize throughput, quality, and safety.
Maintain compliance with lab safety standards and uphold 5S principles to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient workspace.
Act as a hands-on production backup, stepping in when needed to meet deadlines or train team members.
Collaborate closely with management, designers, and other departments to align priorities and production timelines.
Ideal Candidate:
Demonstrated
leadership experience
in a high-pressure manufacturing or lab environment.
Hands-on expertise with
3D printing and milling equipment
(Asiga, Carbon, Roland) and dental software (3Shape, MillBox, etc.).
Mechanically inclined
with the ability to learn and troubleshoot new tools, machines, and digital workflows quickly.
Highly
organized and adaptable
