Edmonton, AB, Canada

Job Description

Description :
Hello. It's nice to meet you.
If you're looking for a challenge, you've come to the right place. We can't promise where you'll go, but we do promise no two All Weather journeys are the same because no matter who you are or where you come from, we're all building something. Every single one of us. Whether it's a home, a career, a family or a future, we're all searching for growth. This is our story too. For more than 45 years, we've built the All Weather Group into the largest privately owned and operated window, door and glass manufacturer in the country. But in some ways, we're just getting started.
Are you ready for this?
At the All Weather Group, you'll be challenged to think on your feet, learn on the job and make an impact in big and small ways. We won't hold your hand but we will have your back in helping you build the skills, experience and career you deserve.
We're currently hiring for a Manufacturing Process Engineer for our Edmonton Plant I location. In this role, you'll work under the guidance of a Senior Manufacturing Engineer and collaborate with teams across the company to improve how we build our product-making processes faster, safer, and more efficient. You'll dive into production data, lead exciting improvement projects, and help shape the future of our operations. If you enjoy hands-on work, solving real-world problems, and making a visible impact every day, this is the role for you. There's more to any job than words on a page, but on any given day, the Manufacturing Process Engineer is responsible for:

  • Lead process design, automation, and plant optimization initiatives to improve efficiency, quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Use Lean, Six Sigma, and data analysis to identify inefficiencies, solve problems at the root cause, and implement long-term solutions.
  • Develop and maintain SOPs, work instructions, and process controls to ensure consistent, high-quality output across production areas.
  • Act as a key link between engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to align goals and meet production targets.
  • Manage capital projects, support equipment upgrades, and contribute to business cases and ROI analysis for process changes.
  • Champion process safety, support quality audits, and contribute to risk management through FMEA and control planning.
  • Provide guidance to junior engineers, stay current with industry trends, and support leadership with special projects as needed.
Are you built for this?
We hire as much for attitude as we do for experience, because who you are is just as important as what you can do. Here's who and what we're looking for.
Education & Certification: Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Industrial, or related Engineering field; must be registered as an EIT or hold a recent P.Eng. designation with APEGA or an equivalent provincial association.
Manufacturing Experience: Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in a manufacturing environment, with preference for backgrounds in both automated and manual assembly--window and door industry experience is a plus.
Process & Lean Expertise: Proven track record in applying lean manufacturing principles (e.g., Six Sigma), with demonstrated success in process optimization and automation initiatives.
Technical Proficiency: Strong grasp of manufacturing systems, quality tools, and process controls; skilled in data analysis, time studies, line balancing, and CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks); familiarity with PLCs, robotics, and automation is an asset.
Soft Skills & Collaboration: Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving abilities with a proven capacity to lead, influence, and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
Let's get after it.
Every day at All Weather is an opportunity to roll up your sleeves and move one step closer to your goals. If you're interested in this role, we encourage you to apply regardless of the criteria we've asked for. Please visit our careers page to get started now
