Evaluate daily operations Plan and organize daily operations Conduct performance reviews Train staff Supervise staff Participate in marketing plans and implementation Enforce provincial/territorial liquor legislation and regulations Ensure health and safety regulations are followed Cost products and services Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports and related forms Provide customer service Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies Leading/instructing individuals Organize and maintain inventory MS Office Determine type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures Manage events Set staff work schedules Recruit staff Monitor staff performance Monitor revenues to determine labour cost Modify food preparation methods and menu prices according to the restaurant budget Develop budget to determine cost of food, ingredients, alcohol, kitchen and cleaning supplies Analyze budget to boost and maintain the restaurant's profits
