Job Summary:
Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer (CFO), the Treasury Manager is responsible for performing all tasks related to treasury, including cash forecasting, derivatives, and debt management. They will also contribute to various projects, including insurance renewals, capital structure optimization, and ad hoc capital markets analysis requested by the CFO. They will also work closely with the CFO and the broader Finance team to create and elevate the Treasury function.

Key Responsibilities:

• Be responsible for bank and other third-party reports;
• Maintain and create new relationships with banks; manage debt facilities with current lenders;
• Participate in and improve projected cash flow processes; ensure sufficient liquidity is available;
• Participate in the creation and implementation of the hedging strategy for risk management purposes (FX & interest rates); perform mark-to-market calculations on such hedging instruments;
• Support month-end & annual budget process;
• Liaise with FP&A to ensure cash projections reflect most recent forecasts;
• Maintain and update FX rate forecasts for use in the business;
• Develop new tools for treasury as part of continuous improvement efforts;
• Participate in the optimization of the capital structure by recommending different structures;
• Work with the CFO to elevate the Treasury function and its broader strategy;
• Ad hoc special capital markets projects and analysis as requested by the CFO.

To qualify for this role, you must have...

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Treasury;
• Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in Finance;
• CPA or CFA title, an asset;
• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Powerpoint (advanced));
• Ability to communicate and build strong interpersonal relations;
• Great organizational and prioritizing skills;
• Excellent analysis capabilities;
• Teamwork skills;
• Autonomy and initiative;
• Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment;
• Bilingual: French and English (written and spoken).
