This solution provides flexibility yet recognizes the importance of collaboration in achieving Mosaic’s “NextGEN” initiatives. Are you our next Training Manager? The Training Manager will be responsible for assessing training needs and determining prioritization of the development, delivery, and evaluation of all training for the North America Business (NAB) for the assigned area of focus. Ensure training deliverables are aligned with overarching training strategy, meet the needs of the business, comply with requirements (regulatory or other) and are prioritized based on strategic objectives. Manage the training team to execute on required outcomes. Aim to ensure training has a positive impact on employee’s ability to perform their job responsibilities in a safe and effective manner while meeting compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Collaborate with key stakeholders, peers and other Mosaic training related roles on prioritization, processes, and approach to delivery of effective training. Contribute to driving continuous improvement of standardized processes to ensure training is consistent across NAB and integrated with other job skills and performance-based training. Actively participate and contribute to Mosaic’s learning governance committee as required. This position can be located in FishHawk, Florida or Regina, Canada. What will you do?

  • Lead training initiatives and programs that align with North American Business strategic plans across operations and functions, embedding training into key strategic projects.
  • Collaborate and network across the organization to establish strategic partnerships, ensuring consistent delivery of training initiatives that clearly demonstrate value to the business.
  • Leadership and oversight of training development, content creation, prioritization, delivery, evaluation, and continuous improvement in areas including environment, health and safety, new hire orientation, worker wellness, financial literacy, digital deployment, and virtual reality.
  • Assist in strategic planning with a focus on applying the principles of cascading metrics to evaluate measurable impacts and alignment of training to business objectives.
  • Progress on Mosaic’s pursuit of a digitally-competent workforce and integrated immersive, targeted training. Leverage leading-edge training tools and partnerships to drive business efficiency and execute on shared strategies between teams.
Our Ideal Candidate Will Have the Following:
  • Bachelor's degree required, major in Engineering/Education preferred
  • 8 years’ experience in Operations and/or EHS
  • If no bachelor’s degree, 10-15 years’ experience in Operations/EHS/Training
  • Relevant Regulatory/Safety/Operational Certifications
  • Excellent collaboration skills
  • Stakeholder management
  • Change management
  • Strong facilitation skills
  • Ability to influence across the organization
  • Office Suite
Bonus points if you have the following:
  • Prior experience leading people strongly preferred
  • PMP, Training preferred
  • High emotional intelligence, proven technical ability preferred
  • Microsoft Power Apps, GrowingU preferred

The FishHawk site is home to our North America Shared Services (NASS) and our Integrated Operations Center (IOC). The innovative NextGen technology of the IOC accesses information from various operational systems and site locations remotely, allowing employees to make real-time, data-driven decisions about operations from a centralized location. Regina, Canada (Non-Union) Mosaic's Human Resources office is located on the 17th floor of Hill Center III and serves as the headquarters for our Potash business unit. This location houses a variety of functions, including accounting, administrative, customer service, engineering, public affairs, procurement, and human resources.
