The Manager, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing a national recruiting strategy in collaboration with HR Business partners, implementing a range of recruiting tactics to raise the bar on talent and attract talent that enables Trader Corporation to achieve its business objectives, driving recruiting for a designated region, ensuring hiring managers recruiting practices comply with all federal and provincial legislation.

What you\'ll do:

- Develop a national recruiting strategy that leverages best practices and implements appropriate recruiting tactics working in collaboration with operational and HR business partners and coordinators across Canada.

- Manage the national recruiting budget to maximize our return on investment and ensure value by developing relationships with vendors and negotiating recruiting terms, conditions and fees that reduce our cost to hire.

- Action internal and external recruitment processes for a designated region and/or assigned client groups, mainly for professional and management positions, in order to secure qualified personnel for the organization. - Maintain the applicant tracking system, (Lever) including the development and maintenance of national recruitment statistics, analysis, and other reporting as required to identify trends and identify tactics to enhance performance.

- Increase management capabilities to hire the right talent by partnering with hiring managers on best practices including interview techniques, proper documentation, and other assessment tools as required in compliance with provincial and federal legislation.

- Collaborate with the Human Resources team, and participate in a wide variety of projects, programs, and initiatives as assigned by the Director, Human Resources.

What you\'ll need:

- A degree or diploma in HR management, certification in behavioral interviewing, certification in talent assessment tool(s), with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience in the field of recruitment in a corporate environment, or an equivalent in education/experience.

- Achievement of CHRP designation would be a key asset.

- Solid understanding of various applicable HR legislations (eg. Employment Standards, Human Rights)

- Excellent organizational, verbal, and written communication and problem-solving skills (R)

- Strong business/financial acumen (R)

- Previous experience dealing with high volumes of recruitment including mass recruits (R)

- Strong client /customer service orientation (R)

- Ability to deal with confidential and sensitive information with discretion and tact (R)

- Ability to think proactively, and independently, to make decisions

- Strong negotiating influencing/consultative skills in dealing with internal and external business partners and clients (R)

- Experience in utilizing innovative and creative approaches to recruiting (R) - - A high-performing team player capable of a high degree of self-management (R)

- An inquisitive Recruiter who enjoys learning about diverse client needs and working with a collaborative and consultative approach (A)

- Bilingual is an asset (except for Quebec where it is mandatory) (A)
