Reporting to the Director of Talent Acquisition, the Talent Acquisition Manager is responsible for leading a team of recruiters, working collaboratively with multiple business units, senior leaders, and managers to attract talent and support best practices within the team. This team is accountable for primarily hiring Nurses and Personal Support Workers as well as all other supporting healthcare positions for healthcare organizations throughout Ontario, Nova Scotia and beyond.
Duties and Responsibilities
Responsible for the management of day-to-day operations of recruitment overseeing a team of recruiters managing the full recruitment cycle by sourcing, screening, interviewing candidates as well as conducting references and supporting the onboarding of all positions including Registered Nurses, Registered Practical Nurses, Personal Support Workers, and more.
Network and liaise with academic institutions, healthcare sector associations, etc. to leverage contacts to build candidate pools.
Utilize social media platforms, targeted promotion campaigns and more for effective candidate sourcing.
Develop a continuous flow of candidates and maintain an active pipeline of active and passive candidates.
Manage and maintain recruitment requisitions in Carecor's ATS (Applicant Tracking System) and job postings.
Partner with senior leaders and managers from multiple business units regarding workforce planning and retention strategies for each site and service and deliver timely and effective customer service and support to internal hiring managers.
Qualifications
5 - 6 years of recruitment management experience in a high volume setting and preferably in a Hospital/Healthcare setting or Staffing agency
Degree or Diploma in Human Resources or other relatable Post-Secondary education
Solid understanding and utilization of Social Media platforms comfort in utilizing professional networking platforms such as LinkedIn as a recruitment tool
Experience with Applicant Tracking Systems and Microsoft Office Suite
Experienced in leveraging new technology and emerging processes - including applicant tracking tools and social media
