Salary: $70,000 - $105,000 CAD per year (Depending on Experience)
Role Objective
We are hiring a well-rounded HR Manager with 5-7 years of experience to lead a balanced role between strategic talent acquisition and core HR operations. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a technical, people-centric environment where recruiting is as much about relationship-building as it is about placement.
You will identify, engage, and nurture relationships with key talent across oil & gas, solar, and OEM industries -- understanding that many of the best candidates are not actively job-seeking and will require patience, strategic outreach, and in-person engagement.
At the same time, you will manage and improve HR operations, ensuring internal employees are supported through effective onboarding, feedback channels, benefits programs, and team engagement initiatives.

Maintain and continuously update a live talent pipeline aligned with growth and succession needs.
HR Operations & Internal Support (Approx. 50%)
Manage employee lifecycle activities including onboarding, offboarding, and performance-related processes.
Collect and act on employee feedback to support retention and workplace culture.
Oversee group benefits, liaise with providers, and communicate offerings to staff.
Help plan and execute team-building activities, internal events, and HR communications.
Ensure ongoing compliance with Alberta and B.C. employment standards and support policy documentation.
Qualifications
5-7 years of progressive HR experience with a balanced background in recruitment and generalist HR functions.

Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills -- especially with passive and hard-to-reach candidates.
Familiarity with employment standards and HR practices in Alberta and/or British Columbia.
Willingness to travel within Canada and the U.S. for strategic hiring opportunities and events.
Highly organized, self-directed, and comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial setting.
