Job Overview:

The QA Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of quality assurance across point of sale, mobile app, online ordering, self-order kiosk, third-party delivery aggregators, and digital menu boards across Tim Horton\xe2\x80\x99s North America. The position also establishes processes and procedures for weekly menu maintenance and project based functional testing, ensures developed test cases and scripts meet quality standards that apply industry best practices that will deliver quality software that will meet the needs of the business.

Responsibilities:

• Manager the daily activities of the QA team, including execution of testing, identifying and documenting bugs, communication with internal and external development teams and tracking fixes
• Understand the project scope, identify activities/ tasks, task level estimates, schedule, dependencies, risks and provide inputs to the project stakeholders
• Provide input in testing strategy and planning, hardware/software requirements etc.
• Provide periodic status updates and highlight / recommend any changes in design/dev processes based on experience/lessons learned.
• Review and provide input into test plans, test cases and test scenarios for unit, integration and user acceptance testing.
• Investigate critical defects and work with development and testing partners to resolve
• Oversee the service levels and delivery of the outsourced testing provider
• Provide timely and accurate testing status reporting including coverage, defects and completion reports.
• Lead post-release project review sessions to discuss lessons learned and document knowledge
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects with aggressive targets and changing priorities
• Excellent verbal and written communication

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience leading and governing large enterprise technology projects
• Ability to track and manage multiple testing streams across multiple projects
• Experience with QA, UAT, regression, negative, load, and soak testing practices/principles
• Experience implementing testing automation suites
• Familiar with technology and digital development cycles
• Willing to pitch in to help complete testing when required
• Experience guiding test case creation including expected results documentation and creation of test cases from user stories.
• Experience with agile development practices including testing within a scrum/squad
• Experience in retail, hospitality or QSR preferred with focus on Point of Sale testing and integration
