Key Responsibilities
Manage audit engagements for public company clients, ensuring quality and compliance with applicable standards.
Lead a team of approximately 6 professionals, providing coaching, performance feedback, and mentorship.
Review financial statements, disclosures, and working papers to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Apply technical expertise in US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS across a range of audit projects.
Maintain strong client relationships and ensure exceptional client service.
Collaborate with senior leadership on engagement planning, budgets, and timelines.
Qualifications
Canadian CPA designation.
5+ years of external audit experience with public company clients at a CPA firm in Canada.
Minimum 1-2 years of experience managing a team in a CPA firm environment.
Current work experience at a CPA firm in Canada.
Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP, CAS, PCAOB, and IFRS.
Based in Vancouver, with the ability to work in a hybrid capacity from the Vancouver office.
Preferred Background
Experience from Big 4 firms (EY, PwC, KPMG, Deloitte).
Experience from mid-sized or national firms (Grant Thornton, MNP, RSM, etc.).
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $100,000 - $120,000 per year (based on experience).
