About You:

You are a talented strategic and tactical problem solver with a "hands-on" orientation, who understands what it takes to drive real operating change, can create a sense of urgency, make decisions quickly, and effectively influence others. You have the drive and ability to help develop analytical and financial frameworks to identify practical and meaningful business improvement opportunities, and to define and implement solutions.
Responsibilities
Lead the development of structured competitive analysis to continually evaluate pricing, offer competitiveness and placement across key competitors and channels
Deliver timely, actionable insights about market dynamics, competitor moves, and customer behaviour to inform pricing and product strategies
Monitor product performance across channels for each of Propel brands and products to ensure alignment with set budget targets
Align pricing and acquisition strategies with Risk, Marketing and Operational goals
Prepare and deliver compelling analytical presentations to Senior Management, translating complex data into clear strategic recommendations
Partner with Marketing, Risk and Product teams to refine offer structures and positioning
Lead and mentor a team of Product Analysts fostering a culture of curiosity and continuous improvement
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in quantitative or business discipline (e.g., Management Analytics, Finance, Risk Management, Statistics, Economics); advanced degree (Masters+) is a plus
9+ years of experience in financial services, consulting or a data-driven product environment
Demonstrated success in developing and executing product and/or pricing strategies
Highly organized, self-driven and comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Exceptional analytical thinking, with the ability to connect data, market dynamics and business strategy
Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to persuade and influence cross-functional stakeholders and senior management
Strong SQL skills for querying large, complex datasets. Proficiency leveraging machine learning in R, Python and Spark is an asset
Experience using and implementing visualization tools like D3, Tableau or DOMO and storytelling with data
Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Excel, Visual Basic, Access, Word, and PowerPoint
