Job Description

Cavendish Farms is a leading producer of frozen food products for retail and foodservice markets throughout Canada, the United States, and around the world. We have state-of-the-art potato processing plants in Prince Edward Island, Lethbridge, Alberta, and Jamestown, North Dakota, and an appetizer plant in Wheatley, Ontario. Our Head office is in Dieppe, New Brunswick and has sales office locations in Toronto, Montreal, and Boston.

Reporting to the Pricing Director, the Manager, Pricing Administration must thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy, and detail. The selected candidate should be experienced in accounting and systems concepts, be an analytical thinker, highly motivated, and process excellent communication skills.

Qualifications:

• Education Required: Post-Secondary Education in Business or related field
• Years of Experience Required: 3-5 years of relevant experience
• Minimum 1 year of Leadership experience
• Ability & interest to learn new computer systems & software, such as Enterprise Resource Planning systems (ERP) and financial processing platforms
• Self-starter with multi-tasking abilities
• Detail-oriented
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Collaborative, team player with strong interpersonal skills
• Demonstrated ability to lead, develop and support a team
• Proven ability to identify and execute ideas for process improvement

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead projects and assist pricing team with initiatives and ensure continuous improvement for our pricing programs and processes.
• Provide pricing decisions that are financially sound and aligned with business goals
• Evaluate new and current opportunities in coordination with sales, supply chain, & operations to support strong and profitable volume growth.
• Develop/implement and utilize various pricing tools to help support pricing strategies required to grow margin.
• Aid in completion of annual budget creation.
• Regularly review exceptions reports to ensure accuracy of actual price & margin vs Budget.
• Support the growth and development of pricing administrators and pricing coordinators through regular coaching and feedback sessions.
• Support pricing administrators and pricing coordinators in daily work; troubleshooting and reviewing data accuracy through integrity reports.
• Make recommendations to Director of Pricing on changes that should be made to budgeted & forecasted Net Sales and Margins due to price/program changes.
