  • Provide leadership, guidance and supervision to direct reports;
  • Produce and maintain network daily logs for planning and records management;
  • Responsible for high-level traffic requirements. Delegates appropriately to Traffic Coordinators;
  • Work closely with the Sales team to maintain a smooth workflow for Inventory Management and their Revenue Management;
  • Lead inventory management for traffic. Process commercial logs for transient and late orders;
  • Maintain selling options;
  • Process program schedule changes in appropriate software;
  • Book on-air creative when necessary;
  • Assist the Director with the development and implementation of organizational objectives, strategies, annual work plan and programs;
  • Responsible for human resources related functions including: interviewing, recruiting and training employees, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees, addressing complaints and resolving problems;
  • Ensure cross training of staff for Traffic is on-going; with cross over training to Scheduling as required.
Your achievements and experience include:
  • Post-secondary education in a relevant discipline, combined with proven relevant experience;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
  • Broadcasting knowledge required;
  • Experience in using Arvato (AdSales) Broadcast Management System is an asset;
  • Supervisory or managerial experience;
  • Experience working with an Indigenous organization as well as knowledge of Indigenous cultural perspectives is an asset;
  • Relocation assistance may be provided.
