for the position of:

Manager of Information Technology & Support Systems



Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Manager of Information Technology & Support Systems is the point of contact with primary responsibility for managing and supporting all IT users in Canada. The Manager of Information Technology & Support Systems is responsible for the oversight and contributing to the decision-making related to IT managed services, license purchasing (Microsoft, Adobe, etc.), laptop purchasing, mobile device contract negotiation, IT policies and procedures, as well as for the oversight necessary to effectively maintain other systems to support organizational operation.. This position functions as part of the management team for KAC.

The duties for the Manager of Information Technology & Support Systems will include, but is not limited to:

Lead the IT team, providing guidance, coaching, and mentorship.

Provides direction and ongoing support related to IT, as needed to the Key Assets leadership team.

Manage and oversee all IT related systems, operations, and services necessary to ensure optimal performance of company infrastructure, including but not limited to:

o Microsoft Office

o Sage

o ADP Workforce Now

o Accountability and Resource Management System (ARMS)

o OK Positive

Diagnose, resolve, and report on software and hardware incidents and support the IT team as they work directly with end users to resolve technical issues.

Oversee IT projects, including planning, execution, monitoring, and closure, to ensure timely and successful completion.

Coordinate installations, upgrades, and maintenance of hardware and software applications.

Proactively collaborate with support teams to inform them of issues, engage in problem solving through a solution-focused lens.

Prioritize helpdesk issues and escalate when required.

Implement security measures, conduct audits, and mitigate risks to protect data and systems.

Supports Key Assets Canada with achieving organizational goals and strategic targets, and implementation plans.

Other duties as required.

Please note this is an in-office position located at the Corporate Office in St. John's, Newfoundland.

Education & Experience:


To be successful in this role, the candidate is required to have:

Diploma/Degree in computer science, information technology, or other related field. A Minimum of five (5) years of supervisory and/or management experience.

Additional Requirements:



Clear Certificate of Conduct from RNC/RCMP.

Valid Proof of Canadian Residency.
