Are you a tech-savvy problem solver with a passion for delivering top-notch IT support? We are looking for an IT Support Technician to join our team and provide remote assistance to our clients.

Reporting directly to the Information Technology Manager, the Information Technology Support Technician is responsible for resolving various computer and technical problems at various medical & dental offices or worksites via telephone, email remote connections or in person.

MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:

Provide remote technical support to clients, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, installing and configuring equipment, and resolving network connectivity issues. Collaborate with clients to understand their IT needs and recommend appropriate solutions to enhance efficiency and productivity. Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, backups, and security patches, to ensure optimal performance and security of IT systems. Document all support activities, including resolutions, recommendations, and client interactions, to maintain accurate records and facilitate knowledge sharing. Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to provide proactive support and innovative solutions to clients. Responds to, reviews, prioritizes, and processes Service Desk tickets. Strong understanding of PC hardware and software. Experience with Ticketing system is an asset Experience with general networking concepts, VPN Experience supporting Corporate printers, print management, set up, scan to email functionality

Requirements:

Proven experience in IT support roles, with a strong foundation in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues. Solid understanding of computer systems, networks, and peripherals, with the ability to quickly learn and adapt to new technologies. Phenomenal organizational, written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills are a necessity Proficiency in English at a native or near-native level is required 2 years of directly related Tier 2 experience. 4+ years of experience alongside a BSC degree or equivalent experience is an asset

Pay: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
