Under the direction and supervision of the Senior Regional Director of Marketing and Communications, with collaborative leadership guidance from the hospital administrator, the Manager of Communications is the location leader and is responsible for the Hospital\'s communications, marketing and public relations activities. The incumbent develops and implements the strategic marketing and communications plan to help achieve the goals of Shriners Hospitals for Children - Canada. He/she strategically plans, develops, coordinates and monitors all matters pertaining to media relations, community relations and communication tools.The leader/ incumbent contributes to the development, implementation and assessment of the mission, broad goals, strategies, objectives and priorities of the establishment in concordance and in collaboration with members of the management team. In planning and managing his/her sector of activity, the incumbent takes into account both the orientations of the Shriners Hospitals for Children network and those of the Quebec health and social service network.Main Responsibilities of the Incumbent
