Department Overview

The Mobile Mortgage Salesforce (MMS) is an exciting and dynamic national sales channel within TD responsible for acquisition of new Mortgage and Home Equity FlexLine business as well as facilitating the sale of Credit Protection. Our National Mortgage Salesforce team delivers new customers to the bank and contributes to the volume, profits and market share of TD's Real Estate Secured Lending (RESL) portfolio. In addition, our MMS team is responsible for bringing new banking customers to the TD branch network using secured lending products as the delivery vehicle. They operate on an entirely mobile platform from a home office base, to develop Mortgage and Home Equity FlexLine referrals from realtors, builders, financial planners and other centers of influence. Based on a commitment to discovering and achieving what truly matters to each client, each MMS leverages a distinct discovery process and collaborates closely to take an integrated approach to building a financing strategy that reflects each client's unique needs and delivers the full spectrum of TD products and services. The Enablement and Support group is a National team accountable for the development and execution of the MMS and Broker Channel strategies.

The Realtor and Builder Development team is an exciting and dynamic area within Specialized Sales Forces that has an opportunity to make a significant impact through a period of transformation and growth. On our quest to #1 market share, the National Builder and Realtor Development team strives to support the development of deep and long-lasting relationships between Mobile Mortgage Specialists (MMS) and third-party centres of influence (COI) in the Builder and Realtor space. By offering meaningful advice and the right lending solutions, relationships between COIs and MMS professionals can help our customers achieve their homeownership goals.

Job Requirements

Previous product experience.

Analytical and logical thinking applied to problem solving.

Ability to start at a high level and dig deep to understand business problems.

Ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups with strong interpersonal and relationship building skills.

Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail with the ability to deliver results within strict timelines and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to thoroughly investigate and make recommendations in a timely manner.

History of making an impact and delivering superior results in both the short and long term.

Knowledge of RESL products/MOCS underwriting/policies is considered an asset.

This is an outstanding opportunity to make a significant impact within the Specialized Sales Force. As a key member of the National Builder & Realtor Development Group, you will look for opportunities and implement change within our risk tolerance to increase TD's market share within the new construction industry.

The Builder Development Program is a partnership arrangement with builder developers across Canada, where we assess Builders and their new construction projects and strategically drive initiatives to increase new acquisitions within our Builder portfolio.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, National Builder & Realtor Development, you will participate in the day-to-day management and oversight of our Builder Development Program and contribute towards executing strategies to evolve our business.

Key Accountabilities Include:

Participate in the development and execution of strategic initiatives to deliver business results.

Own and effectively manage partner engagement, including collaboration with Regional Sales Managers, Mobile Mortgage Specialists, Retail Banking, RESL Policy, MOCS, National Real Estate Group and Retail Risk Management.

Manage and oversee the daily operation of the builder program and contribute towards the future state evolution of program.

Become the subject matter expert for the builder program and first point of contact for internal and external stakeholders.

Look for ways to evolve the builder program, streamline the onboarding process and create efficiencies in the program while operating within TD's risk appetite.

Have excellent verbal and written communication skills to be able to negotiate with partners to balance stakeholder input, while remaining objective to reach the right outcome.

Highly motivated self-starter with a passion for challenging the status quo and the ability to stay resilient under pressure.

Support project/initiative delivery, testing and implementation activities to deliver business benefits and achieve business result.
