WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR?
Manager, Lifecycle Marketing
Tennis Canada is seeking a Manager, Lifecycle Marketing to lead growth marketing initiatives by developing and executing lifecycle and segmentation strategies, from acquisition to retention. This role focuses on crafting personalized fan journeys using data and automation to deliver the right message at the right time.
Key Responsibilities
Develop, implement, and manage retention-focused, multi-channel marketing campaigns that leverage email marketing, SMS, and marketing automation tools to increase engagement, drive revenue, and maximize upsell opportunities across Tennis Canada's various business units.
Design and execute acquisition strategies aimed at growing Tennis Canada's fan base, identifying new target segments, and fostering long-term relationships with fans through personalized communications.
Lead customer segmentation efforts to create dynamic, data-driven audience groups for tailored messaging, optimizing fan journeys via email and SMS to increase lifetime value and brand loyalty.
Oversee the management and evolution of lifecycle marketing technology stack, including Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other related platforms, to ensure smooth execution of campaigns and data integrity.
Collaborate closely with the Data and Analytics team to track campaign performance, develop KPIs, and analyze fan behavior to continuously optimize marketing strategies and improve ROI.
Develop and maintain an experimentation framework (A/B and multivariate testing) to test messaging, creative, and delivery timing to enhance campaign effectiveness.
Partner cross-functionally with internal teams--such as Social Media, Ticketing, Partnerships, and Corporate Marketing--to ensure integrated fan experiences across all touchpoints and channels.
Identify and propose new tools, technologies, or processes to enhance lifecycle marketing capabilities and automation efficiency.
Manage relationships with external vendors and agencies as needed to support marketing initiatives.
Prepare and present regular reports on campaign results and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and stakeholders.
WHO YOU ARE
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field; Master's degree is a plus.
3-5 years of experience in lifecycle or growth marketing, preferably in sports or entertainment.
Strong knowledge of Salesforce Marketing Cloud and CRM/CDP integrations.
Skilled in A/B testing, SMS campaigns, audience segmentation, and project management.
Proven leadership and team development experience.
Experience with HTML/CSS and paid social media campaigns is an asset.
Passion for tennis and bilingual (English/French) skills are advantages.
