Job Title Manager, Learning - Fraud Operations (18 month contract)



What is the opportunity?

This is an 18 month contract posting.

You will lead the development and content creation of Fraud Operations\xe2\x80\x99 learning resources, including modernizing and diversifying training programs. You will be accountable for employee cross-skilling and upskilling, drive People Priorities for Fraud Operations Nationally; including the deployment of new and innovative Learning Strategies aligned with delivering world class fraud capabilities. You will collaborate with partners across Fraud Operations and R&O to maximize capabilities, manage priorities and enable an exceptional client experience. A leader of talent management, employee engagement and employee capability; you are a leader who develops and manages employees ensuring we have the right talent, with the right capability for today and the future.

Please Note: This is a hybrid opportunity.

What will you do?

  • Effectively lead and enable a dynamic team of Facilitators/Trainers focused on the development and strengthening of Fraud capability to manage risk and mitigate fraud loss
  • Manage Fiscal training calendar and learning roadmap for Fraud Operations and build learning pathways for upskilling, cross-skilling and training by incorporating a modular training approach to minimize business impact
  • Collaborate with Business Leaders and internal partners to achieve business metrics, attrition targets and optimization of national training teams to build capability to meet training needs and deliver cost effective Training
  • Deliver on critical initiatives through effective enablement plans to embed capabilities across team and Centres, and strategically align training resources \xe2\x80\x9cwhere it matters most\xe2\x80\x9d
  • Champion the use of proven best practices, tools and technologies to accelerate capability, and seek process and technology improvement initiatives to simplify Learning/Enablement processes and improve end to end client and employee experience
  • Lead high performance through focused practice management routines and effective feedback aimed at enhancing the employee\xe2\x80\x99s capability to meet business results and achieve performance success
  • Guide and support employees through continuous improvement and innovation, including applying \xe2\x80\x98voice of the learner\xe2\x80\x99 feedback to improve training processes
What do you need to succeed?

Must have
  • 2+ years in Leadership roles
  • 2+ years of related Operations experience
  • 2+ years of Enablement or Learning/Facilitation experience
  • In-depth knowledge of RBC Learning techniques and development methods
  • Solid data literacy and the ability to read, understand, create and communicate data insights
  • Exceptional communication, design thinking, problem solving and presentation skills
  • Advance Leadership routines - effectiveness in Business/Team governance, coaching practices, and practice management and ability to provide diagnostic support on same
  • Proven interpersonal effectiveness, professionalism, leadership and creativity
  • Ability to independently work through ambiguity in a cross functional team environment
  • Comfortable in a position affording visibility and interfacing with different levels of management
  • Aptitude for working under tight deadlines, extreme volumes and quick decision making
  • Innovative and strategic thinker, able to identify and act on opportunities to develop, manage and execute on business strategy
  • Able to commit to completing an 18 month contract in this role
