Job Description


As Senior Manager, Retail Experience & Communications (18 month maternity leave contract), you will be accountable for planning, developing, launching, and sustaining Retail programs and initiatives that deliver long-term, positive impact to our business, customers and teams. You will focus on driving initiatives that support our business strategy and representing the Retail department in cross-functional, larger scale projects. They will be responsible for stakeholder management and building buy-in for all stakeholder groups regarding any upcoming changes. The Senior Manager, Retail Experience will be responsible for collaborating with the field leadership and training teams to ensure all launched initiatives are successfully transitioned into the day-to-day Retail Operations.

What you\'ll do:

  • Program Build & Management: Build and responsible for all aspects of upkeep for the following:
  • Develop and Drive sustainable and profitable operating programing of retail services including, but not limited to piercing, engraving, styling, clienteling
  • Ownership of the retail service model and how it shows up in store through partnership with retail leaders and L&D, tools and language integration, and consistent voice
  • Build and Lead the retail communication strategy in partnership with Retail Communication Manager and all cross functional partners to ensure we are delivering the field team concise and necessary communication
  • Build and Lead retail engagement programs
  • Continuously seek new opportunities and share new ideas that can help the business grow and support its business goals. Share possible recommendations for implementation and impacts to the cross functional stakeholder group
  • As needed, develop operational processes and SOPs in partnership with the Store Operations Manager and field managers to ensure successful integration of new initiatives into daily operations
  • Develop and implement project plans, resourcing streams, roadmaps, and milestones to support the implementation of Retail initiatives.
  • Represent Retail in cross-functional projects to ensure that the needs of stores are considered and included in execution of any operational change as a result of strategic business initiatives or key retail initiatives
What you bring to the team:
  • Experience leading or working within a retailer that has scaled
  • 5+ years of operations leadership experience within retail or hospitality
  • Experience coaching teams & multi-unit management
  • Experience working for an omnichannel retailer
  • Strong business acumen and excellent understanding of retail standards and operational best practices
