Department Overview

TD IT Build covers a number of functional disciplines or practice areas. These technology professionals demonstrate incredible commitment through their participation in a combination of build-related functions or activities, such as:

• Application and implementation of platform design patterns and standards for infrastructure components across various platform domains;
• Delivery Management functions within the build mandate to co-ordinate and drive deployment- related activities;
• Structured focus on project delivery to implement deliverables for their respective and specialized areas of infrastructure build; and
• Specialized Services functions that provision contact center infrastructure and network-related infrastructure work for Real Estate and/or Branch environments, hardware assets etc.

Job Requirements

• Undergraduate Degree or Technical Certificate.
• Graduate Degree preferred.
• 7+ years relevant experience.
• Interest in enhancing knowledge/expertise in your own area and staying abreast of industry and/or business trends.
• Experience working independently and often autonomously in the management of projects, teams and operational disciplines and can develop strategic thinking and planning in the execution of work plans .
• Ability to manage or lead multiple teams (

25) and projects with increasing degree of complexity and broad scope. * Readiness to manage system enhancements, new releases or projects typically focused on a specific product / system / application of moderate scope and complexity.

• Strength managing projects and teams (including financials) and advocates for the reusability of architecture and processes by new business initiatives.
• Capacity to manage problem resolution, plans and strategies for operational advancement.
• Confidence in managing overall team, impart leadership and technical guidance. set team targets and objectives, deliver results.

About This Role

We are looking for someone to manage a driven team (or multiple teams) of IT Build professionals as they provide a wide range of services and solutions enterprise-wide. You\'ll work along with to apply and share their expertise as they set out to meet TD\'s high standards and business objectives each and every day.

Meaningful work is fueled by meaningful performance and career development conversations with your manager. Here\'s some of what you may be asked to perform:

• Manage products, systems, applications and services for multiple clients.
• Lead in developing the strategic direction of your own area.
• Manage system, project and technical interface integration, ensuring optimal client support and efficient systems operations.
• Lead effort to develop and configure the environment from conceptualization through stabilization using various platforms. lead environment implementation by using technical tools to analyze the current system environment and infrastructure.
• Lead effort to test, debug, and performance analyze and document environment components.
• Develop and maintain a database of environments for an application portfolio.
• Research + innovate: contribute to build, buy and reuse system components to meet client expectations and project deliverables.
• Conduct or oversee IT planning with clients, prioritize activities, allocate resources consistent with business strategy and objectives.
• Negotiate, document deliverables, timelines, charters and costing, roles and critical milestones.
• Foster positive team and client relationships and ensure shared understanding of business needs and direction.
• Identify and manage vendors, develop RFPs and RFIs.
• Serve as \'solutions integrator\', providing flexibility and ensuring sound technology choices by offering and negotiating options.
• Consult on system strategy, architecture and design.
• Measure and monitor service levels, analyze trends, determine actions.
• Focus on process improvement to minimize operational, reputational, and proprietary risks.
• Maintain effective dialogue with regulatory bodies and standards organizations
• Develop business cases focused on reusability, scalability, innovation, and enterprise-wide solutions.
• Establish project teams, ensure agreed deliverables are communicated and delivered within time, budget and quality parameters.
