Who we need:

Reporting to the Director of IT, we are hiring for a Manager, IT Security and Fraud Analysis. You will lead the configuration and maintenance of IT security and fraud detection systems, make recommendations, and introduce best practices and the latest tools. You will manage and monitor network and systems access, traffic and alerts, responding accordingly. You will provide ongoing technology risk reporting and conduct regular vulnerability assessments, system tests and audits, working closely with our partners.

As our new Manager, IT Security & Fraud Analysis, you will:

  • Lead. You will take ownership of IT systems analysis, fraud detection, and management. You will use your knowledge, the latest tools, and industry best practices to solve and prevent security and fraud issues, conduct in-depth investigations, and implement proactive or immediate resolutions. You will nurture trust with internal and external stakeholders and provide technical guidance and direct support.
  • Optimize Information Security. You will schedule and perform regular reviews of information security policies and procedures, ensuring we maintain the highest level of security possible. You will implement, update and document companywide information security policies and procedures. You will recommend anti-fraud processes for changing transaction patterns and trends. You will partner with key stakeholders, analyze business requirements, and develop solutions for IT needs, including enhancing or deploying business systems and data analytics.
  • Perform IT Security Governance. You will investigate internal and external information security risks, incidents, and exception assessments. You will oversee vulnerability management, including scans, patching, establishing and measuring against secure baselines, penetration test results, phishing prevention and alerts, and social engineering tests and attacks. You will manage security audits and vulnerability and threat assessments, directing responses to network or system intrusions test.
  • Manage fraud detection and use case development. You will conduct holistic account and transaction monitoring to support Scene+ programs. You will manage and maintain both our suspicious activity reporting and fraud analysis models to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of company systems. You will coordinate fraud investigations with partners and conduct deep dives into account and transaction activity to identify and expand upon existing typologies.
You bring:
  • The experience. You have practical knowledge of IT administration and fraud management frameworks and tools, ideally working at a bank, insurance organization or another high-volume customer-based organization. You have worked in a security operations centre as an analyst, focused on threat detection and response, including building tools for prevention.
  • The technical expertise. You have extensive experience writing and conducting penetration tests and vulnerability assessments, analyzing results, generating reports, and recommending and building solutions. You have worked in an Azure or AWS cloud environment and can quickly come up to speed with one or both.
  • The project management. You have experience working on multiple simultaneous projects of moderate to high complexity. You can confidently lead the technical design, planning, execution, and implementation of security requirements. You have excellent organizational skills in a demanding, multi-system environment.
  • The interpersonal skills. You can build and nurture internal and external relationships across any level of an organization. You can gain trust and influence decisions to operate an organization-wide security program effectively. You have professional verbal, written, and presentation skills and can translate complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience, demonstrating business value and impact.
