About the Role:
Reporting to the VP, GM, the Manager, HR, and HSE plays a strategic leadership role responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the human resources and health, safety, and environment functions within the business unit and in alignment with corporate structure. This position is crucial in managing and implementing HR and HSE strategies and programs that align with the company's overall goals and objectives. The Manager, HR and HSE provides guidance and support to senior management, collaborates with various stakeholders to foster a positive and inclusive work environment, attract and retain top talent, and drive employee engagement and development.

Administer and implement HR strategies and programs that align with the business unit and corporate strategic objectives.
Provide senior management with expert HR guidance on tools, best practices, employment laws, and industry trends.
Partners with senior management to align HR initiatives with business goals, driving organizational culture and values.
Oversee the administration of the business unit's benefits programs.
Collaborate with senior management to review and recommend job evaluations, salary adjustments, and incentive programs.
Ensure compliance with applicable HR laws and regulations.
Conduct regular market analyses to maintain competitive and industry-aligned total compensation strategies.
Manage the Merit and Employee Incentive program cycles, ensuring data accuracy and equitable outcomes.
Lead the recruitment and talent selection process to attract and retain top-tier talent.
Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure seamless integration for new employees.
Execute yearly performance management initiatives, including performance guidelines and development plans.
Provide leaders and employees with guidance on employee relations, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
Administer employee recognition and reward programs to foster engagement and retention.
Mitigate HR-related risks by maintaining robust policies, procedures, and controls.
Leverage HR metrics and analytics to support data-driven decision-making.
Oversee HR reporting and ensure data accuracy within the HRIS system.
