  • Be a champion of the HR Technology, and help the team adapt & pivot quickly to support other teams and intake new technologies
  • Stay informed and relevant with new technologies and innovations
  • Evaluate new technologies for fit and function within our enterprise landscape
  • Expand and consolidate HR System features and functionalities for our global business partners to develop synergies and improve return on investment
  • Lead design sessions and focus groups to study the response and impact of new features and enhancements that can be expected from a larger population
  • Proactively seek out and suggest (through data & analysis) innovative solutions that minimize low value work and maximize high value, making impactful advances to the employee experience
  • Fuel our partner teams with data-driven insights with regards to best practices and innovation
  • Help your team, our HR partners, and external business stakeholders to design, test, and deploy new features that delight users
  • Create templates and design patterns that can be repeatable for other functions and regions
  • Investigate and resolve functional issues and enhancements for our solutions
  • Help our partner teams deliver features safely to our people, through regression testing and move-to-product team processes
  • Learn to influence upward and laterally, as your team is a driver to the technical strategy within the strategic Digital Enterprise transformation
  • Create promotional content for new HR technology and enhancements to share with global HR partners to increase awareness, demonstrate value, and impact
  • Support our compliance partners to ensure our people’s data is well-protected
  • Work with our internal partners when signing on to new programs and acquiring new technologies
  • Tell great stories to our senior leadership about the value you deliver
What do you need to succeed?
  • 5+ years of system experience in either HR, IT, or a related field
  • Some people leadership experience
  • Resilience to support a transforming organization
  • Excellent customer service, communication and cross group collaboration skills required
  • Strategic thinker with excellent analytical skills, creativity, and problem-solving abilities
  • Desire to try new things outside of your comfort zone and not be afraid to fail
  • Take charge of your career path and work with your leader and team to continuously develop your skills and competencies – we want you to love what you do
  • Seek opportunities to connect with users and team members to develop a broad understanding of how our HR Technology systems are used, managed, and enhanced

The Base Pay range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. It may vary depending on the work location of the successful candidate or other factors. In addition to Base Pay, eligible Sun Life employees participate in various incentive plans, payment under which is discretionary and subject to individual and company performance.
